Does music elicit emotions already present in us, or does it create new ones?

 

First of all,some things you should know,You can show your emotions through your own made piece of music.Emotions elicited by music are measured on the rhythm,tempo,beat,melody,wavelength,loudness,etc of the music.

  Almost all emotions are already present in us,but research shows that sometimes,listeners said that they felt a different kind of feeling(Never felt before),to some it was elevated sadness,to others,elevated depression,and similarly different feelings to others.Each individual expressed it in his own terms.
